 OFA Film Classification Search

Effective January 14, 2019, the OFA has released the above updated Film Classification search function.  All films classified before September 11, 2018 and after January 14, 2019 are available for searching.

The OFA is actively working to ensure all films classified during the transition period (from September 11, 2018 to January 13, 2019) are entered into the new database as quickly as possible.  In the interim, please contact filmclassification@ontariofilmauthority.ca  or  LimitedAndDoc@ontariofilmauthority.ca for any enquiries related to film ratings.  Thank you for your patience.

The Ontario Film Review Board film database includes classification, content advisories and detailed observations for films that have been classified by the OFRB Board (including 35mm movies, videos, DVD's, VCD's and video games).

You may search for a specific title by specifying all or part of the title in the first search box.

You may also ask for a group of titles by specifying the classification, format, and date range in the second search box.
